As you all know, October is an important time for the fight against cancer and here I’m wearing all pink – dress by StyleStalker – to support the research for breast cancer awareness. I decided to support The Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation by making my #PinkPonyPromise – a photo and a promise – that I uploaded on Twitter and Instagram where I wanted ‘To remind myself to take better care of my body!’ which is the first step towards prevention and cure of this disease. Your promise can be anything you want it to be: for example, a wellness commitment, a pledge to do a good deed or to honor the triumph or legacy of someone you know who had been touched by cancer. Join the #PinkPonyPromise to reach the goal of a $1 million donation to help provide cancer care and treatment to people who might not normally get it because they are either un- or under-insured, or live in a medically underserved community. For your promise, The Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation will donate $10 to the fight against cancer, and if you tag your friends on Twitter or Instagram – up to five – there’ll be an additional $1 donation for each one, up to a total of $1 million.
